Vamp said I could post her design for Lurien the Watcher, so here's our headcanons and also our design for him as a human! We headcanon him as this posh guy with a heart of gold despite being a neurotic asshole. He is IMMENSELY loyal to the kingdom and its strive to be eternal, and will put his efforts into that. He's like if Flug from Villanos was a good guy. Dedicated and competent, but with the composure of a Tasmanian Devil.

We also headcanon that he's a butterfly, specifically Joni's half-brother. He forsook lifeblood to serve the Pale King as his Watcher. The Pale King doesn't know this, however, as the man covered himself fully even before swearing himself to him. He was always a weirdo.

He cannot stand Tiso.

The Witchwood crawls with godly and other supernatural presences. Eyes carefully watch this, for lack of a better term, intrusion. But they are not like Bliklotep's. The Witchwood's keeper stays hidden for now.

Crow and Mourn Watcher Rooks are the only ones who are verbally referred to by their last name in the game (other last names are mentioned only in letters).

Viago: You're a Crow and a de Riva. You're expected. Emmrich: I heard a young Watcher, Ingellvar, put a stop to it through unorthodox measures. Rook: And got into trouble. It was decided it might be best for that young Watcher to see the world... Mourn Watcher NPC 1: There was a possessed dragon, and I missed it? Mourn Watcher NPC 2: Apparently Ingellvar took care of it. Mourn Watcher NPC 1: I heard he's/she's/they're going by Rook these days.
